FINANCIAL DONATIONS

          BARF has a policy that none of its money is spent on salaries or administration. We have been funding all the running costs out of our own pockets. However, we are now benefiting from a greater awareness and are receiving some most welcome donations from time to time which enable us to continue with our work.  All monies donated are only spent on funding the cost of aid convoys or purchasing items we are unable to acquire as donations. For example, we have purchased 2 keyboards, joysticks, rollerball mouse for severely handicapped children. We have also purchased educational software (mathematics and English) - in Serb language, for distribution to the schools to whom we have donated computers, a total of 74 sets. This ensures that money that is given to us in good faith ends up where the donor expects. On the ground benefiting the Bosnian people.

           As a charity registered with the Charity Commission (No 1078431)  we are eligible to claim Gift Aid on any donations given by UK taxpayers. Any such donations will be used to continue our very necessary work with the people of Bosnia Herzegovina.
