Help from BARF to "Genesis Project" and to medical institutions Medical material to City hospital and Clinical centre.

Two days ago humanitarian organization BARF from Great Britain delivered aid to Clinical Centre, City hospital - Emergency Dept., Refugee centre "Ivan Goran Kovacic" and Genesis Project which consisted of consumable medical material.

Mara Veselic, head nurse at theClinical Centre says, that this help is very welcome to the Clinic Centre because all supplies of medical material are almost spent, and they do not have money to purchase new ones. " This is not the first time that this organization helps us, and they have even promised they will come again with even bigger package" - Veselic said and emphasized that it is very important that all material is fresh and first-class quality.

According to her words humanitarian package consisted of 13,800 pieces of sterile syringes, 38.800 brauniles, 12,000 pen-needles, 60 digital thermometers, 6 manometers, 300 intravenous catheters and 200 infusion systems. Renata Hadzic- Hadzibegovic head of Emergency Dept. in City Hospital says that this is the third time that this same This is the third time that same organization helps City hospital and material that they received during BARF last visit, they use even today organization has helped this institution and that supplies of material that they received during their last visit, are being used even now. Besides 32,600 sterile syringes, 2,400 brauniles, 5,000 needles, 64 thermometers and manometers it was given also 600 bandages and 1000 saft- intimas. Dijana Pejic, coordinator of Genesis Project humanitarian organization which has cooperated with BARF since June 2000, says that this is the seventh convoy of help that has come from Great Britain. " Thanks to this delivered aid, " Genesis Project" has helped more than 40 institutions, more exactly hospitals, clinical centres, schools, specialised educational institutions, humanitarian organizations and socially endangered people" - said Pejic.V.VILIPIC
