BARF APPEALS MEDICAL EQUIPMENT & CONSUMABLES Unfortunately, since 1st January 2006, we are not able to import any medical equipment without being subject to Value Added Tax which was put in place from that date. We understand that each and every item of used medical equipment would be evaluated by Bosnia Customs and subject to the new VAT rate of 19% of the estimated cost. Thus, it is impractical and prohibitively expensive to import such equipment. This is a great tragedy as we have accumulated a vast stockpile of hospital beds, nurses uniforms, bed hoists, etc. COMPUTER EQUIPMENT Bosnia runs on similar power supply, we just need to change the plugs on any electrical equipment. We can no longer supply hospitals or clinics but we can continue to supply schools around the country which urgently need any kind of computer equipment, including peripherals such as printers, scanners, projectors etc. Are you getting rid of an old machine? Why throw it in the tip when we can put it to good use. Minimum Specification needed ..... Pentium that runs Win 98, and that it is good working condition! CLOTHING AND SHOES There is always a great need for good clean sensible everyday clothing and shoes. Particularly for children. All donations of these items are especially welcome. SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES Bosnia's education system is in a dreadful
state. Because of the high rate of unemployment
the Government has little money to plough into education so most schools are
heavily dependent on organisations to supply them with equipment and consumables
that are so easily available in Britain. Computers,
scanners, printers, flat screens ALSO Specialist Science Class
Equipment Toys, games, jigsaws,
soft toys, Lego,
Play Equipment, puzzles |
